PILATES

I know there is a Pilates practice out there for everyone! Do you want to improve your sport? Do you want to move and just be, without pain? Is your body in recovery? Do you want time for your mind to focus?

Pilates is a full-body exercise practice which improves strength, balance, posture and coordination by using your own body weight and small equipment for resistance. Pilates is a great form of movement practice to help with obstacles the body may have due to illness, injury or the pressures of different types of work (physically and mentally). Pilates is also a fantastic addition to other sports training; whether it be running, dancing, swimming, golf etc. It can really improve your game! By giving you greater strength and mobility in your joints.

I’m continually learning new things to grow my own practice and teaching, to pass on juicy knowledge and techniques to you. We aim to move every joint in the body during a class, to do this with control and to do this in a way that it will improve your mobility and strengthen your body we use our “centre” or “powerhouse” and breathing combined.

It is a full mind and body conditioning practice and it is wonderful!!

I really LOVE Pilates and believe is should be accessible to everyone. Pilates has the power to improve well-being, support recovery and enhance quality of life. I strive to make my sessions welcoming, inclusive and designed for all abilities. My goal is to help each person feel stronger, balanced and more connected to their body, so they can carry that sense of vitality into everyday life.
